Vic Matiè: brand history

Vic Matiè was born in the Marche region, in Arcevia, within a story of Italian manufacturing: the company started in 1972 with specialized production of technical rubber footwear for workplace safety, and by 1973 it expanded into fashion footwear. In 1987, Vic Matiè was launched as the company’s first in-house label dedicated to women’s shoes, combining artisanal know-how, material expertise and style research. In more recent years the brand has widened its offer: since 2018 it has included bags and accessories, and since 2019 it has expanded with menswear proposals, supported by a digitalization path launched in 2020.
