Pratesi Firenze 1948 is a Tuscan family company whose story began in 1948. The founder, craftsman Egidio Pratesi, started out in the film industry creating leather accessories; among the best-known commissions is the making of the gladiators’ leather armor for the movie “Quo Vadis”, filmed in Rome. Egidio later opened his own artisan workshop, building a tradition passed down through three generations: today, his grandchildren continue the journey, preserving traditional techniques, careful material selection, and a recognizable style that blends classic taste with distinctive details.
