Classic diplomatic briefcase / attaché case 24 h. / carry-on case, handmade by Italian craftsmen in real vegetable tanned leather.

The tanning process is done in water which contains tannins - natural dyes, coming from the bark of different plants or flowers. Today the rapid tanning method is mainly used which lasts about 48 hours, in barrels, and which (thanks to the rotation and beating movement) allows to obtain a softer and more flexible leather.

Tanning gives the leather a warm and natural tone. Live skin has irregularities and roughness, and therefore the colored surface may have darker shades in some areas, and lighter in others. This is not a defect, but the characteristic of real vegetable tanned leather, which adds to the leather a touch of vintage charm and true Made in Italy style.

Outer measurements: 43 x 8 cm, H. 32.5 cm.

Inner measurements: 39cm. height , 29cm. length, 6cm. depth 

Inside: covered in cream-colored true genuine leather; 2 open pockets; 3 pen holders; 1 side compartment with adjustable width.

Outer material: warm brown genuine leather.

Closure: Side flap folds/unfolds and can bi fixed with high-quality side metal swivel joints; and locks with two rectangular metal clasps, with combination lock.

Handle: single handle, its internal shape repeats the shape of a hand.

Designer and manufacturer: Tuscan leather goods brand Chiarugi. Chiarugi artisan workshop was founded way back in 1969. Today this family business produces bags and accessories in a classic style, using traditional ancient Florentine manufacturing techniques.
