Madrid told as a four-legged love story: this TUA BRACCIALINI shoulder bag from the Cartoline line transforms a compact silhouette into a romantic illustrated postcard from Spain. The slightly trapezoidal shape, wider at the base, is softened by a delicate powder beige shade, the perfect backdrop for the richly detailed decoration.

On the front, the stars are two irresistible ginger cats in love, pictured gently touching noses. He wears a wide black Spanish-style hat decorated with small red details, while she is adorned with large red roses, an immediate reference to the elegance and passion of flamenco. The result is a small romantic scene that feels theatrical, expressive and full of character.

The story of Madrid unfolds all around them: the word Madrid, a heart in the colours of Spain, stamps, postcards and a message reading “Nos vemos esta noche, por bailar Flamenco. Hola, mi amor…”. A gold-tone paw print, small metal elements, appliqués and sparkling details transform the artwork into a richly textured composition designed to be admired up close.

Architecture also plays a starring role. The back features an atmospheric city view dominated by the Edificio Metrópolis, one of central Madrid’s most recognisable landmarks, standing between Calle de Alcalá and Gran Vía. Cartoline Madrid: a love story of cats and flamenco

History and identity of the BRACCIALINI brand

BRACCIALINI was founded in Florence in 1954, when Carla Braccialini began creating her first leather bags in the heart of the city’s historic leather-goods district. From the very beginning, the brand developed a distinctive identity based on experimentation, originality and imagination, choosing to transform the bag into an object capable of telling a story far beyond its purely practical function.

Over the decades, animals, cities, journeys, flowers and everyday objects have become the stars of the collections through colour, appliqués, decorative craftsmanship and unusual shapes. TUA BRACCIALINI, designed and developed in Florence, interprets this spirit in a more everyday, urban way while preserving original and instantly recognisable subjects.

In 2017, Braccialini became part of Graziella Holding, beginning a new chapter in its history; in January 2023, the shared journey of the two Tuscan companies led to their official merger under the Graziella Braccialini identity. Narrative imagination nevertheless remains one of the brand’s defining threads, and the Cartoline line is one of its most characteristic expressions: little journeys, cities and characters transformed into bags to carry with you.
