Deep black, flashes of gold and an orderly cascade of light: this M★BRC bag gives the classic structured handbag a distinctly more dramatic character. The body in genuine black pebbled leather provides an elegant, tactile base, while the large flap in soft black suede introduces a refined contrast of textures.

The flap itself becomes the jewel of the bag. Its velvety surface is arranged in geometric rows of large transparent faceted oval crystals, alternating with round gold-tone metal studs. The regular placement of the decoration recalls the precious detailing of an evening accessory: the crystals catch the light, while the rounded gold-tone studs add warmth and depth without making the design feel heavy.

Beneath the flap, the leather body is deliberately kept clean and understated. At the centre sits only the small gold-tone M★BRC logo, discreet yet luminous. The result is a striking balance between a rich, sparkling upper section and a clean, structured base that is easy to style.

The most distinctive feature is undoubtedly the large black suede flap decorated like a piece of jewellery. Oval crystals alternate with gold-tone metal elements in a precise, graphic rhythm. Against the matte suede background, every reflective detail stands out more vividly, creating an elegant interplay of softness, light and volume.

The decoration is bold yet orderly: rather than covering the bag at random, it follows regular rows that emphasise the rectangular shape of the flap. This geometry is precisely what gives the model its sophisticated character and prevents the effect from becoming overly flashy.

History and identity of the M★BRC brand

M★BRC is the personal creative project of Massimo Braccialini, whose professional background developed within the renowned Braccialini family tradition. Born into the world of design, Massimo worked for many years alongside his mother Carla Braccialini, initially focusing on styling and later taking on the role of creative director.

After this long experience in Italian leather goods, in 2017 Massimo Braccialini began a new chapter with the M★BRC brand. The first collection was presented for Autumn/Winter 2017-2018, with the aim of addressing a contemporary audience through Made in Italy bags characterised by refined materials, distinctive craftsmanship and close attention to detail.

M★BRC therefore carries forward a creative culture developed within the Braccialini world while establishing an identity of its own: cleaner in form, modern in proportion and often surprising in its choice of surfaces and decoration. Research, experimentation and Italian craftsmanship are among the core elements of the brand philosophy.
