An unconventional hotel on one side, a lively gym on the other: this Braccialini All Round Looney Tunes long wallet uses its entire surface to tell two different stories, transforming a classic zip-around design into a miniature illustrated narrative.

On the first side, the scene is set in the reception of an elegant hotel. Lola Bunny, wearing a pink jacket and brown trousers, arrives with her suitcase; Bugs Bunny appears behind the reception desk, while Sylvester peers in from the other side. The black-and-white chequered floor, clock, lamps, HOTEL sign and room board create a retro-inspired setting, almost like a still from a comedy film.

This is far more than a simple print. The characters, suitcase and various details are enhanced with raised appliqués and tactile inserts that give the illustration extra depth. The gold-tone Tua Braccialini logo is incorporated directly into the scene and coordinates with the gold-tone zip hardware.

The other side changes setting completely. Lola Bunny works out at the gym among exercise mats, weights and equipment, while Daffy Duck, with his unmistakably expressive personality, tackles the treadmill area. Pink, light blue, orange, grey and neutral shades create a deliberately lively atmosphere, completed by the Looney Tunes logo.

This is precisely the idea behind the All Round line: there is no secondary side. Turn the wallet over and the scene changes, while the same witty, coherent story continues. Black edging frames both illustrations and gives the long format a crisp, polished finish.

Two scenes, one wallet

The strength of this design lies in the way it makes use of the rectangular format. The hotel reception has an elegant, almost cinematic atmosphere, while the gym is more colourful and dynamic. Turn the wallet over and the setting changes completely, but the same humour and raised construction typical of Braccialini’s narrative collections remain.

History and identity of the Braccialini brand

Braccialini was founded in Florence in 1954, when Carla Braccialini began creating the first bags in Florence’s leather-goods district. From the outset, the brand chose a different path from more traditional leather goods, focusing on experimentation, imagination, colour and instantly recognisable shapes.

Over the years, animals, cities, travel, everyday objects and characters became part of a distinctive visual language. Prints, appliqués, embroidery, three-dimensional elements and metal details transform bags and small leather goods into accessories that tell a scene rather than simply perform a function.

In 2017 Braccialini became part of Graziella Holding, a Tuscan group also specialising in jewellery. The partnership encouraged an even closer interplay between leather goods, metalwork and decoration, while the brand’s creative identity remained firmly connected to Florence and its artisan tradition.

The collaboration with Looney Tunes fits naturally into this world: characters already defined by humour and exaggeration meet Braccialini’s love of visual storytelling. On this wallet, the hotel and gym become two miniature stages to discover every time the accessory is turned over.
