women's  elegant handbag made of real vegetable tanned leather, with a vintage effect, in three contrasting tones.

Vegetable tanning is an ancient technique that dates back to the medieval period and developed in Tuscany in the lands located along the Arnò river. The skin is placed into the barrels with water containing tannins (natural dyes, coming from plants and tree bark).

This leather is subjected, while still wet, to a particular process that gives it a worn and wrinkled effect, then it is rolled and wrung out, then left to dry for 6 weeks, then it is opened and sanded by hand to obtain the light-dark effects. The squeezes remain imprinted on the skin. This tanning is 100% ecological.

Brand: Cuoieria Fiorentina - is an Italian brand, created in Florence 40 years ago. The company has an artisanal leather workshop, specialized in the production of high quality leather goods according to traditional Tuscan techniques.
