The most well-known actress of the XX century, the elegant diva, the fashion icon, whose style nowadays inspires lots of women. Marilyn was sensual without vulgarity, she has become a sex-symbol not just because of her womanly figure, but thanks to her taste and sartorial elegance as well.

Among this stylish woman’s garments we can find charming cinch-waisted dresses, light and sexy blouses, sleeveless shirts and tight-fitting turtle-neck sweaters dolcevita, shorts, tapered legs, multicolored, beige, pastel and black. Being the undying fashion icon, she hand-picked elegant accessories to enrich her garment.

Shoes

Like any other woman, Marilyn adored high spike heels, she wore pumps for almost every important ceremony or banquet. The actress had an especial passion for Made In Italy shoes and was the most loyal customer of Florentine elite fashion designer Salvatore Ferragamo.

She has become a movie icon after appearing in her famous 10 cm heeled pumps from this Italian designer in “Some like it hot” film.

The most astonishing shoes from Ferragamo Marilyn Monroe wore in the 60-s. These shoes are a true piece of art: scarlet red, 10.5 cm heeled, covered with crystals.  The legendary shoes were exhibited at the exposition in Florence, dedicated to the 50th anniversary in memory of Marilyn.

Bags

Marilyn had a true passion for small bags and clutches, especially from Italian designers. Among her accessories, there is a cross-body bag from Emilio Pucci, decorated with geometrical print, which the actress carried in combination with everyday casual outfit garments.

For soirees Marilyn chose small and elegant clutches, enriched with crystal insets, framed with golden metal, silk or feathers, such as for instance, the most famous bag that has recently been auctioned off for 25,428$ - purple red, made of silk, decorated with metal clasp.

Among the most famous clutches, preferred by the diva, stands out a signature pochette of purple silk with “MM” monogram – Marilyn Monroe, in combination with a small purse.

Among Marilyn’s favorite items there are stones decorated bags, bags embroidered with beads of the same color, the most outstanding of which – is the black beads bag, which the actress bought when she was married to playwright Arthur Miller.

Despite her passion for small bags and accessories, Monroe’s wardrobe also included large capacious casual bags for every-day use. Her most favorite models were a shoulder shopper bag and a tote bag.

Besides bags and shoes, godlike Marilyn was a great fur fan, completing a gorgeous and expensive dress with a neckpiece. The most recognizable image of the actress, which fascinated the public, was created especially to celebrate the birthday of the USA President Kennedy. This was a natural nude color dress, decorated with shining crystals from Jean-Louis Barrault, 12000$ worth, coupled with a white fur neckpiece.
