Rome seen through the eyes of a little four-legged traveller: this TUA BRACCIALINI bag from the Cartoline line transforms the classic barrel bag into a true illustrated postcard of the Eternal City. Its elongated shape, with a wide base and gently rounded top, recalls a small travel bag, while the decorative story is unmistakably Italian, romantic and full of playful charm.

On the front, the star is an irresistible white dog driving through Rome in a retro-style red convertible. Sunglasses perched on his head give him the air of a stylish little tourist, while behind him rises the monumental Trevi Fountain, illustrated with a remarkable wealth of detail.

The scene is arranged like a real travel diary: the large word Roma, a red heart, a postcard reading “Non vedo l’ora di vederti!!”, stamps and a view of the Colosseum come together like souvenirs collected during an Italian holiday. A small gold-tone paw print symbolically signs the little traveller’s adventure.

The artwork gains depth thanks to numerous applied and raised elements. The dog’s sunglasses, the heart, the postcard and other details stand out from the surface, while the two headlights of the convertible are embellished with large sparkling crystals. Studs, metal elements and small brilliant accents add the three-dimensional character so typical of BRACCIALINI creations.

The back changes mood completely and lets Rome itself take centre stage: here the Trevi Fountain fills almost the entire composition, framed by the façades of the square and a street lamp. It is a quieter, more panoramic view, almost like a second postcard completing the story told on the front.

The dark brown trim and upper section frame the decoration in shades of powder pink, red, turquoise, beige and black. Gold-tone hardware brightens the design and appears on the handle attachments, zips and TUA BRACCIALINI logo.

The barrel bag features two short removable handles and a wide fabric shoulder strap, also removable and adjustable, with tonal BRACCIALINI logos. The double-pull zip makes the interior easy to access, where there is one open pocket and one zipped pocket. Protective metal feet on the bottom help safeguard the base.

History and identity of the BRACCIALINI brand

BRACCIALINI was founded in Florence in 1954, when Carla Braccialini began creating her first bags in the heart of a city historically associated with Italian leather craftsmanship. From the very beginning, the brand chose a distinctive path based on experimentation, originality and imagination, gradually transforming the bag into a true medium for creative expression.

Over the decades, cities, journeys, animals, flowers and everyday objects have become the protagonists of collections rich in appliqués, unusual shapes and decorative details. TUA BRACCIALINI, designed and developed in Florence, interprets this creative heritage through more everyday, urban styles while preserving original and instantly recognisable subjects.

In 2017, Braccialini joined the Tuscan Graziella group, opening a new chapter in its history; this shared journey later culminated in the official merger of January 2023 under the Graziella Braccialini identity.
